Before I get into the good stuff let me say I’m easy going and laid back so I will do my best to talk to you as if we are sitting down having a bite to eat and getting to know each other.
Fair Enough!
Even though I have had the pleasure of being featured on CBS, NBC, FOX & CNN Television programs I’m not going to assume you know anything about me, so let me start from scratch.
My name is Eric Anderson I’m also known as The Magician with a Message. (I’ll explain that in a moment) I’m a Magician and one of the most sought after Keynote Speakers in my expertise.
I have had the opportunity to share the stage with Talk Show Host Sean Hannity, First Lady Laura Bush, Home Run King Hank Aaron, and Nobel Peace Prize Recipient & President of the United States Jimmy Carter.
Oh yeah – I was also selected to entertain at the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball” during President Barack Obama’s Inauguration in Washington D.C.
Let me explain!
When I was five years old my adoptive father taught me a simple magic trick. Shortly after that when I was placed in foster care, the art of magic gave me something positive to focus on while I was being moved from home to home. Honestly Magic SAVED my life!
Eric what do you mean?
I made my fair share of mistakes, but for the most part I was able to stay out of trouble because I would sit around and practice the art of magic for hours on end, it was insane. But eventually I got really good, so good in fact I started doing shows and making a few bucks.
Well I was hooked, I discovered what I was good at and I decided this was how I was going to make my living.
Of course I heard all of the nonsense like –
“Eric you will never succeed and your life will amount to nothing.”Luckily for me I completely IGNORED the Haters. When I turned 18 I started reading lots of books on Personal Development. This helped combat some of the negative thoughts I was exposed too.
Anyway after high school I served a brief stint in the Air Force and worked a few odd jobs before making my dream come true, by traveling the world and entertaining audiences with my unique brand of magic.
And guess what, I actually did it.
Of course there where some hardships along the way but I turned my passion into a career entertaining audiences around the world. I was stoked!
For a number of years I was living my dream when a friend suggested I share my story with my audiences. I asked her WHY? She said when people see your show they will have a lot of questions about how you’re able to do some of the things you do. I think you should tell your story and explain to people WHY you do what you do.
One of the things I learned is sometimes our goal(s) will lead us to our real goal. And that’s exactly what happened.
Even though I amaze people for a living after that first performance where I shared my story with the audience I was Absolutely Thunderstruck by the response. People surrounded me and wanted to know HOW?
This was the first time none of the questions had anything to do with how I performed the illusions in my show. Instead everyone wanted to know how I was able to overcome my challenges and live the life I’m currently living.
That’s when I became known as The Magician with a Message.
Even though magicians are known for keeping secrets I love to share one of life greatest secrets.
