  • Attendees will develop the skills to distinguish between typical developmental milestones and trauma-informed behavioral responses in children.
  • Participants will identify the specific cognitive and executive functioning challenges (e.g., memory, focus, impulse control) that frequently hinder academic progress for trauma-impacted students.
  • Attendees will learn to recognize the specific signs of trauma-induced emotional dysregulation and how these manifest differently in middle childhood compared to early childhood or adolescence.
