We want them to try something new, and we want campers to feel safe being and becoming their authentic selves.We understand and value the importance of connection with others. We want our campers to be better friends, work well with others, and work to resolve conflict peacefully.We want our campers to love to explore. It's a beautiful world, and we want our campers to care for the environment and its creatures, and we want our campers to love Austin Sunshine Camps as much as we love them.What We Offer\n\nAustin Sunshine Camps has provided free fun-filled overnight summer camp programs for the children of the greater Austin area since 1928. All summer camp programs are provided free of charge for families with kids who either meet the free or reduced school meals income eligibility guidelines or are in foster care.\n\nAt ASC there are 4 Camp sessions at each of our camp locations. Campers ages 12-15 attend our Lake Travis camp and campers who are ages 8-11 attend our Zilker Camp. Sessions for campers ages 10-15 are all ten days and nine nights long! Campers who are 8 years old attend sessions that are seven days and six nights. Campers who are 9 years old can choose either the ten-day or seven-day option. For one session at Lake Travis, families will have the option to put their child in the All-Gender cabin. By offering a third gender option, we're allowing campers to be their full, authentic selves at camp!\n\nAbout Lake Travis Camp\n\nOur Lake Travis camp is located on Lake Travis between Lago Vista and Marble Falls; it serves campers 12  15 years of age for ten days and nine nights.
