The Texas Foster Family Association is committed to supporting foster, kinship, and adoptive families across our state. One of the ways we do this is through retreats that provide families with connection, encouragement, training, and much-needed time to recharge alongside others who understand the unique journey of caring for children.
Many of you know that in the past years our retreats have been supported in partnership with Project Liftoff. We are grateful for the support that partnership provided to families across Texas. Unfortunately that relationship came to an end earlier this year as both organizations move in different directions in how services are provided. Because of this change, TFFA will now be responsible for securing funding to continue offering these meaningful retreat opportunities.
As we plan for upcoming retreats, we are seeking assistance from our membership in identifying potential grant writers, funding opportunities, or corporate/community sponsors who may be interested in helping support these events. These retreats make a meaningful difference for families, but they rely heavily on partnerships and financial support to remain accessible and affordable.
Your support helps ensure that the families who give so much to the children in their care have opportunities for rest, encouragement, and community.
Please feel free to reach out to us using our "Contact" link at the top of the page if you have suggestions or would like to hep in this effort.

It's time to relax and connect with your family at a free retreat.
Life is better with s'mores. And sunny days and starry skies, and off-key camp songs, lively games and craft projects made of popsicle sticks. Families grow stronger with spiritual quiet time, bonds are strengthened and new friends are made in a camp setting designed for families, youth and young children of all ages and faiths.
